The optimal function of the human neuroendocrine system is directly related to the state of the pineal gland cells. The optimal function of these cells depends on the intensity of protein synthesis in them. Protein biosynthesis is the process of forming new proteins in cells, which is gene expression – a central process for all living organisms, in which proteins are built from amino acids according to genetic information. This process is vital for cell growth and the performance of their most important functions. Proteins regulate all key functions in the body.
In a young organism, protein synthesis proceeds efficiently. Accordingly, organs and systems function optimally. In cellular protein metabolism, proteins are broken down into small fractions = peptides.
